Moje pravo Network demands solutions for disability rights in Tuzla Canton

The Moje pravo Network of associations in Tuzla Canton has issued an open letter to Prime Minister Irfan Halilagić, the Cantonal Government, and the Assembly, demanding concrete solutions for children and persons with disabilities.

The network reports that despite years of initiatives and a thematic assembly session held on June 10, 2026, no significant progress has been made. A critical issue cited is the shortage of neuropediatricians at the University Clinical Center Tuzla, forcing parents to seek medical care in other cities, private facilities, or abroad.

Additional unresolved issues include the need for subsidized transport for persons with developmental difficulties, challenges regarding classroom assistants, ABA therapy access, and the fact that monthly financial assistance has remained at 71 KM since October 2022. The network emphasized that they are not making new demands, but rather seeking action on long-standing problems.
