Mojtaba Khamenei honors Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah leadership

Mojtaba Khamenei, a leader in the Islamic Republic of Iran, issued a message honoring the late Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Khamenei described Nasrallah as a figure who elevated Lebanon from being a “backyard” for certain powers to a position of great importance.

The remarks were made during the Holy Defense Week, which commemorates Iranian resistance during the Iran-Iraq War. Khamenei stated that the leadership of the Resistance now rests with Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem, who is expected to continue Nasrallah’s path.

Regarding the current situation in Lebanon, Khamenei characterized the period as “special and glorious days for Lebanon and all fighters of the Resistance,” while describing the period for those relying on the promises of oppressors as “days of humiliation and shame.”
