Moldova approves new urban mobility law for parking enforcement
The Government of the Republic of Moldova has approved a draft law regarding sustainable urban mobility, which introduces new regulations for paid parking. The document grants local authorities the power to block the wheels of vehicles whose owners have failed to pay for parking and to evacuate abandoned cars.
The initiative is now set to be examined by Parliament.
