Moldova summons Russian Ambassador following drone incursions

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov for the second time in a week to deliver a formal note of protest. This follows recent incidents where multiple drones and missiles entered Moldovan airspace without authorization, with several exploding in four different districts.

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has stated that the expulsion of Ambassador Ozerov is a possibility in response to these violations. Grosu criticized the diplomat's recent comments regarding the origin of the drones, describing his attitude as imperialistic and insolent.

Ambassador Ozerov has denied that the drones were Russian and has called for a joint investigation, asserting that no evidence has been provided to link the aircraft to the Russian Federation. He also stated that he feels safe within Moldova.
