Moldova holds first meeting for 2026–2030 Agricultural Strategic Program

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova has convened the first meeting of the National Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Strategic Program of Agricultural Policy (PSPA) for 2026–2030. The committee, composed of 21 members including central public authorities, specialized institutions, farmer and processor organizations, and rural development networks, is tasked with evaluating progress and objectives throughout the program's duration.

During the session, members discussed the preparation of funding calls scheduled for 2026 and the development of Applicant Guides for PSPA measures. Discussions also covered eligibility criteria, support access conditions, and the operationalization of interventions. Additionally, the committee reviewed the management of the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment (FNDAMR), specifically addressing proposals to redistribute financial resources for 2026 based on current allocation utilization and funding requirements.
