Moldova hosts regional forums to mark 35 years of independence

The Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova is organizing 35 regional forums between September 15 and September 30 to commemorate 35 years of national independence. These events are part of the ‘Decade of National Values’ and are taking place across all districts and municipalities in the country.

Participants include students, teachers, historians, and figures who contributed to the independence process. The forums aim to educate younger generations on the historical events leading to the proclamation of independence, covering topics such as the national liberation movement and the return to the Romanian language and Latin script. The program includes various scientific, cultural, and educational activities within educational institutions nationwide.
