Moldova implements participatory methods to prevent school bullying

Students and teaching staff in Moldova are utilizing participatory methods to combat bullying, discrimination, and social exclusion within schools. Through initiatives such as forum theater, students are encouraged to analyze unfair behaviors and propose active solutions to social conflicts.

In one instance, a student at Molești Theoretical High School used these techniques to intervene when a classmate was being mocked for language difficulties. Following these experiences, training sessions were held in July at the Grigore Vieru Gymnasium in Ialoveni. These sessions allowed students, librarians, and educators to deepen their understanding of social inclusion and practice methods to support peers facing exclusion or bullying.
