Moldova introduces digital registry for orchard owners
Moldova is introducing a new digitalized registry for orchard owners designed to consolidate various records into a single format. This tool aims to align national legislative requirements with European quality and safety standards, as well as international certification systems.
Farmers testing the system report that it simplifies record-keeping by centralizing information that was previously spread across multiple documents. The registry is expected to reduce administrative workloads and provide producers with a clearer overview of necessary orchard maintenance tasks. Some exporters have noted that the electronic data can also be utilized during international certification processes.
