On the morning of September 19, multiple unidentified aircraft were observed violating the airspace of Moldova, primarily in the southeastern region near Căplani and the border with Ukraine. According to the Moldovan Border Police, several aircraft traversed the airspace in different directions around 04:00.

Ukrainian authorities reported that an object fell and caught fire approximately 1.5 to 2 kilometers from the state border near the village of Troitskoe at 05:19. Meanwhile, residents near Colonița reported a powerful explosion accompanied by intense light around 04:20. Viorel Cernăuțeanu, Chief of the General Police Inspectorate, confirmed the explosion and stated that police have since recovered fragments that may have originated from a drone.

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the incidents, describing the unauthorized airspace entries as a serious violation of national sovereignty. Authorities have urged citizens to avoid any suspicious objects or fragments found in rural areas and to report them immediately to emergency services.
