Moldova signs bilateral agreements with Denmark and Albania

Moldova has advanced two bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening legal frameworks with Albania and Denmark.

The Moldovan government has approved the initiation of negotiations to sign an administrative arrangement with Albania regarding social security. This agreement will allow Moldovan citizens who have worked legally in Albania to have their contribution periods recognized in both states. This mechanism will apply to various benefits, including old-age pensions, disability pensions, survivor pensions, and compensation for work-related accidents or occupational diseases.

Additionally, Moldova and Denmark have signed an agreement regarding the employment of family members of diplomatic mission and consular office personnel. Signed by Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi and Danish Ambassador Søren Jensen, the document facilitates access to paid employment for the families of diplomats stationed in Moldova.
