Roman Roșca to Take Vacant Moldovan Parliament Seat after Trubca Resignation

Deputy Alexandru Trubca of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) submitted his resignation from the Moldovan Parliament, citing public controversies surrounding his real‑estate activities that he said could damage the party’s image and credibility. Trubca emphasized that he will remain a party member and urged the National Integrity Agency to complete its investigation into his business interests.

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu described the resignation as “a correct decision for him, the party and the citizens,” noting that the matter had been discussed with Trubca and party officials. Under the electoral list procedure, former deputy and former vice‑minister for reintegration Roman Roșca is set to fill the vacant mandate. Roșca previously coordinated policies on the Transnistrian conflict and has pledged to continue his parliamentary work.
