Moldovan educators train in digital Holocaust history resources

Teachers from the Edineț, Briceni, and Florești districts are participating in a professional training workshop in Chișinău focused on using digital resources to teach Holocaust history and promote tolerance in schools.

The initiative is led by the Ministry of Education and Research in partnership with the OSCE Mission to Moldova and the International Center for Training and Professional Development. The workshop aims to help educators integrate digital tools into lessons and organize educational activities dedicated to Holocaust memory.

Participants, including history teachers and school administrators, are learning to use historical sources and interactive tools to develop students' critical thinking regarding the consequences of discrimination and intolerance. The training also explores digital resources for the optional curriculum ‘Holocaust: History and Life Lessons,’ designed for students in grades 9 through 12.
