Moldova digital education and technology initiatives

Overview

Moldova has undertaken several initiatives focused on integrating digital tools and technology into its educational and economic sectors.

In Chisinau, the Moldova AI Hub was launched to connect public and private entities with international partners, aiming to move artificial intelligence from experimental use into practical applications for the economy and public services. Alongside this, regional educators held a forum to discuss the role of teachers in the age of AI, focusing on responsible usage and critical thinking.

Furthering digital integration, the Ministry of Education and Research, in partnership with the OSCE Mission to Moldova, launched training for teachers in the Edineț, Briceni, and Florești districts. This program focuses on using digital resources to teach Holocaust history and promote tolerance through interactive tools and historical sources.
