Moldova's Integrity Authority postpones wealth probe of ex‑deputy Alexandr Trubca

The National Integrity Authority (ANI) announced it will not begin a formal audit of former deputy Alexandr Trubca's assets and potential conflicts of interest, choosing instead to issue a "opinie consultativă" (consultative opinion).

If the examination uncovers inconsistencies, inspectors may launch an in‑officio control pursuant to Law no. 132/2016. A full verification, should it be initiated, could take up to nine months.
