In Quartello, Sardinia, volunteers from the civic group Oikos carried out an emergency cleanup two days after an arson‑suspected fire devastated the neighbourhood between Via Italia and Via Norvegia. They collected 21 bags of waste, chiefly glass bottles, and highlighted the severe impact of the blaze on the environment and wildlife.
