Molise to receive additional €160 million for water infrastructure
The Italian government is expected to allocate an additional €160 million to the Molise region for its water services, effectively matching the €160 million already funded between 2018 and 2023. Sub‑secretary to the regional presidency Vincenzo Niro highlighted the need for clarity on how the new resources will be directed toward strategic projects, including dam works at Ripaspaccata and the repair of aging water conduits. Senator Costanzo Della Porta announced the funding and called for transparent communication with Molise citizens about the planned interventions.
Officials stressed that the new financing is intended for the design and execution of key infrastructure works and urged that the public be kept informed about timelines and specific allocations, building on the ongoing modernization of the region’s water network.
