Monaco hosts Formula E and Formula 1 Grand Prix events in 2026

In May 2026, Monaco staged the ninth and tenth rounds of the Formula E World Championship, drawing around 40,000 spectators. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène attended, and the weekend featured two different winners – Nyck de Vries for Mahindra Racing and Oliver Rowland for Nissan – as well as podiums for Jaguar, Cupra Kiro, Andretti and others.

A month later, from 4–7 June, the Principality will host the 2026 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. The four‑day programme includes Formula 2, Formula 3 and the Porsche Supercup, followed by practice, qualifying and the main 78‑lap race on the iconic street circuit. Leading drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Mercedes’s Kimi Antonelli are expected to compete, while fans can enjoy a fan zone with live screens and simulators.
