Monclova Half Marathon 2026 announced by Mayor Carlos Villarreal

The municipal government of Monclova, Coahuila, announced the 2026 Half Marathon will take place on 18 October. Mayor Carlos Villarreal presented the event, which will feature an internationally certified Level A route, a prize pool of about 300,000 pesos across individual, elite, disability, best‑local‑runner and relay categories, and a raffle offering more than 250,000 pesos in cash for registered participants.

The race is intended to promote sports tourism, encourage physical activity, and generate economic benefits for local businesses. It is being organized in coordination with state authorities, including Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas, and will be open to runners from across Mexico.
