Mondelez and Mattel announce new executive leadership appointments

Mondelez International has appointed Richard Trechman as Senior Vice President of the Northwest Europe business unit, effective immediately. Trechman will oversee operations in the Nordic countries, Benelux, and the Iberian Peninsula, reporting to Volker Kuhn, Executive Vice President and President of Mondelez International Europe.

Trechman joins the company from Danone, where he served as Managing Director Regional and President of the DACH region. His new role focuses on driving sustainable long-term growth for brands including Oreo, Freia, Marabou, Côte d’Or, LU, and Fontaneda.

Separately, Mattel has announced several leadership changes within its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) division. Portuguese professional André Moreira has been appointed Director of Softlines, following his role as Senior Manager of Consumer Products for Benelux and the Nordic countries. Other key appointments include Kasia Gruszka-Mierzwa leading food, health, beauty, and quick-service restaurants, and Isidora Tassopoulou as Director of the PEM area.
