Monex Securities and Docomo SMTB Net Bank launch integrated financial services

Docomo SMTB Net Bank and Monex Securities have launched a collaborative service as of August 28. The partnership features an automatic deposit (sweep) service that allows funds to be transferred from a Docomo SMTB Net Bank account to a Monex Securities account 24/7 without fees when purchasing power is insufficient for domestic stocks or investment trusts.

Users can now apply for both bank and securities accounts simultaneously. When applying for both at once, the automatic deposit service is pre-configured. Additionally, a feature allowing users to open a Docomo SMTB Net Bank account when opening a Monex Securities account is expected soon.

The collaboration includes rewards through the NTT Docomo Financial Group. By combining Docomo SMTB Net Bank, Monex Securities, and d Card, users can increase their d Point redemption rates. For example, setting the bank account as the d Card withdrawal account can lead to a maximum initial year redemption rate of 3.0% for d払い and d Card payments, subject to monthly limits.
