International sports competitions see major medal hauls for Italy and Romania
International sports competitions have seen significant results for various national teams. At the FISTF World Cup 2026 in Paris, the Italian national team dominated the table football championships, securing seven gold medals out of twelve available, including major wins in youth and women's categories.
In rowing, the U23 European Championships in Poland saw strong performances. The Romanian team secured nine gold and one silver medal, with significant contributions from CSM Constanța athletes.
