Monsoon activity expected to increase in Jharkhand and Rajasthan

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted renewed monsoon activity across several Indian states. In Jharkhand, rain and thunderstorms are expected to persist from September 7 through September 12. A significant increase in rainfall activity is anticipated on September 9, with heavy rain possible in the north-western and central parts of the state, specifically affecting Lohardaga, Gumla, and Hazaribagh. High winds of 30 to 40 km/h and lightning are also expected during this period.

In Rajasthan, a new low-pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal is expected to shift weather patterns starting September 11. While western regions like Bikaner and Jodhpur may remain dry until September 12, eastern districts including Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, and Ajmer are forecasted to receive light to moderate rainfall beginning September 12. These weather changes are expected to bring winds of 30 to 40 km/h and thunderstorms to the eastern divisions.
