Monte Carlo to become new luxury stop for Orient Express

The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, operated by Belmond, is introducing a new luxury stop in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The new itinerary is scheduled to begin in mid-2027.

The route will allow passengers to board in Paris and travel through the French Riviera, passing through Saint-Raphaël, Cannes, and Nice before arriving at the Monte Carlo underground station. From Monaco, the train will continue its journey toward Venice. The route is designed to provide views of the Mediterranean coast and the Massif de l'Estérel.

Tickets for this new route are expected to start at 4,870 euros per person. This price includes travel, constant butler service, meals accompanied by sommelier-selected wines, unlimited soft drinks, and necessary transfers.
