Montenegrin court seizes armored vehicle of Kavač clan leader
The High Court in Podgorica has ordered the temporary seizure of an armored Mercedes G500 belonging to Radoje Zvicer, a suspected leader of the Kavač criminal clan. The seizure follows a proposal from the Special State Prosecutor's Office, based on suspicions that the vehicle was acquired through criminal activities, including the creation of a criminal organization, unauthorized drug production and trafficking, and money laundering.
Zvicer is currently one of Montenegro’s most wanted fugitives, with an international arrest warrant active for crimes ranging from murder and drug trafficking to illegal possession of weapons and explosives. The Montenegrin Ministry of Internal Affairs has offered a reward of 500,000 euros for information leading to his arrest.
The legal action comes amid the long-standing conflict between the Kavač and Škaljari clans, a rivalry that began in 2014. In July, Zvicer was sentenced in absentia to 40 years in prison for his involvement in organized crime.
