Montenegro Government approves energy efficiency and highway funding

The Government of Montenegro has reached several decisions without holding a formal session, acting in accordance with government regulations based on the prior consent of the majority of its members.

Key measures include a program to promote energy efficiency in hotels, facilitated through a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and the Fund for Environmental Protection. The government also addressed the financing of the Mateševo–Andrijevica section of the Bar–Boljare highway, specifically regarding the signing of an amendment to a grant agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Additionally, the government reviewed the status of the Special Investment Program of Special Importance for the Economic and Business Interest of Montenegro. Personnel decisions were made regarding the Supervisory Boards of Montenegro Railways (Željeznički prevoz Crne Gore AD Podgorica) and Railway Infrastructure (Željeznička infrastruktura Crne Gore AD Podgorica), including the appointment of proxies for state capital representation at shareholder assemblies.
