Montenegro high schools receive teqball equipment donation
All secondary schools in Montenegro have been equipped with teqball tables through the ‘Teqball in Schools’ project. The Teqball Association announced the donation of 50 tables, with a total value of 125,000 euros.
The initiative aims to provide students nationwide with the opportunity to engage in the sport within their schools. The project is implemented by the Teqball Association in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Capital City of Podgorica, and the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ).
To support the rollout, promotional classes were held at the Mladost Mixed Secondary School in Tivat and in all secondary schools in Cetinje, allowing students to learn the rules and practice on the curved tables. Officials noted that the equipment will serve as a resource for physical education classes, extracurricular activities, and leisure time for both current and future generations of students.
