Montenegro records 18 traffic accidents in 24 hours, one fatality

In the past 24 hours Montenegro logged 18 road accidents, resulting in one death and six injured persons. Police reports say four of the injured sustained serious injuries while two suffered minor injuries.

The incidents were spread across several municipalities: four occurred near Podgorica, three in Bar, two each in Nikšić and Žabljak, and single accidents in Danilovgrad, Herceg Novi, Budva, Mojkovac, Šavnik, Plužine and Pljevlja.

Law enforcement issued 758 fine notices and filed 66 traffic violation complaints. Three vehicle registration plates were confiscated as part of the response.
