Infrastructure works cause traffic disruptions in Montenegro, Bosnia, and Croatia
Various infrastructure and maintenance projects are causing traffic disruptions and service changes across Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia.
In Montenegro, significant roadwork includes the reconstruction of the Đurđevića Tara bridge on the M-6 highway, which involves total traffic suspensions. Other ongoing works include road adaptations on the R-17 and R-29 routes, asphalt resurfacing in the Pljevlja section, and maintenance in the Sozina tunnel. Localized power outages and medical service updates have also been reported.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, construction of a roundabout near the Audi service in Banjaluka is nearing completion, though officials note that pedestrian safety measures like underpasses or walkways remain a pending requirement. Additionally, roadwork is affecting several major routes in the Republika Srpska region, including the Klašnice-Šargovac-Banjaluka road and various sections near Bijeljina and Modriča.
In Croatia, road maintenance in Rijeka involves asphalt paving on Bože Vidasa Street, requiring drivers to exercise caution near machinery.
