Multiple regions in the Balkans are experiencing significant traffic disruptions due to roadworks and weather conditions.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, fog is reducing visibility in valleys and near riverbeds, increasing the risk of landslides. Major roadworks are affecting several routes, including the A-1 highway, where sections between Kakanj and Lašva, and Nemila and Vranduk, are closed or redirected. Other restrictions include weight limits on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina and Jablanica-Blidinje roads, and various single-lane or alternating traffic regimes on several regional and main roads. Long queues have also been reported at the Velika Kladuša border crossing.

In Montenegro, the AMSCG reports total closures on several routes, most notably the M-6 Pljevlja–Žabljak road due to the reconstruction of the Đurđevića Tara bridge, a project expected to last until October 2026. Other regional roads, including R-29, R-17, and R-30, are also subject to scheduled closures or alternating traffic due to ongoing maintenance and reconstruction.

In Slovenia, ARSO has issued a red weather warning for the Slovenian Istria region, forecasting localized storms, heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts, and lightning strikes, particularly in the evening hours.
