The Auto-moto Association of Montenegro (AMSCG) reports that while most roads in Montenegro are operating without emergency restrictions due to favorable weather, significant traffic disruptions are in place due to ongoing reconstruction projects.

A major disruption is the total suspension of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the M-6 highway (Pljevlja–Žabljak section) at the Đurđevića Tara bridge, which is scheduled to last until October 26, 2026. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes.

Other notable restrictions include:

• Regional road R-29 (Bar–Kamenički bridge–Krute): Daily closures from 08:00 to 11:00 and 13:00 to 16:00. • Regional road R-17 (Čevo–Riđani): Daily closures from 08:00 to 14:00 during adaptation works. • Regional road R-30 (Petnjica–Bioča): Daily closures from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00 until September 30, 2026. • Regional road R-3 (Pljevlja–Dajevića Han): Scheduled closures between September 17 and September 30, 2026.

Additionally, the Sozina Tunnel is operating under an alternating traffic regime with potential nighttime closures for maintenance, and certain routes near Kotor have restrictions on buses and campers.
