Montenegro to build Velje Brdo housing at €1,000 per sqm

The Montenegrin government confirmed it will uphold the promised price of €1,000 per square metre for apartments in the Velje Brdo development, whose construction is set to start in December. The first phase will comprise six buildings with a total of 185 units. Tender processes for the main project and related infrastructure, including a boulevard, have already been announced by the Ministry of Public Works.

Minister Slaven Radunović also warned owners of undeclared illegal structures to register them in the land register by 14 August, otherwise they risk removal. The project is presented as a state response to high real‑estate prices.
