Montenegro's Anti-Corruption Agency meets French Ambassador

Kristina Braletić, Director of Montenegro's Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK), met with the newly appointed French Ambassador to Montenegro, Cécile Humbert-Bouvier, to discuss continued cooperation in anti-corruption efforts.

The meeting focused on strengthening the Agency's capacities in preventing and combating corruption, particularly as Montenegro progresses through its European integration process. Previous collaboration with French expertise has already contributed to improving mechanisms for preventing conflicts of interest, handling reports, protecting whistleblowers, and developing a registry of politically exposed persons.

Discussions included possibilities for further support through the French Development Agency and French expertise. Future priorities may include enhancing internal reporting mechanisms and conducting educational activities within large-scale systems such as healthcare and education.
