Montepagano wine festival and Rocca di Botte BIO conference spotlight Abruzzo viticulture

From July 31 to August 2, 2026, the historic village of Montepagano in Roseto degli Abruzzi will host the 54th "Baccano" edition of the Montepagano Wine Fair. The event will feature more than 30 Abruzzo wineries, master‑classes by writer Matteo Gallello, tastings of French Jura wines and a vertical of Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Valentini, a book presentation on the millennial wine "Immortale" and live music performances.

On the same weekend, Rocca di Botte held the conference "La via del BIO e la sua ANIMA" to discuss the role of organic wine in the region. The gathering honored Francesco Gallizzi for his "Via delle Cantine" initiative and paid tribute to the late mayor Fernando Marzolini, a longtime supporter of the local wine sector.
