Monza prepares for 2026 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix

Preparations are underway for the 2026 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, scheduled from September 4 to 6. The event will feature a variety of entertainment, logistical, and sporting developments.

Grammy Award-winning singer Laura Pausini is set to headline the F1 Grid Gigs at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, marking the first time this pre-race concert series visits the historic venue. In the sporting arena, attention is focused on Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who currently leads the championship, prompting discussions regarding team hierarchy and his standing relative to George Russell.

To manage the influx of spectators, Monza has approved a comprehensive mobility plan. This includes approximately 10,000 parking spaces, dedicated shuttle services, and enhanced rail connections. Trenord will provide special services, including direct trains between Milan and Biassono-Lesmo Parco, and integrated ticket options for fans. Additionally, various brand activations and cultural events, such as the ‘Anatomia di un’auto da corsa’ exhibition in Arcore, are planned to coincide with the race weekend.
