Monza declares mourning for Gianturco family following Peru plane crash
The city of Monza has declared a day of official mourning on August 29 to honor the Gianturco family, following a fatal plane crash in Peru on August 1. The tragedy claimed the lives of four family members: Paolo Gianturco, a Deloitte manager; his wife Cristina Maria Bianco, CEO of the Aegis group; and their sons Matteo, 24, and Pietro, 18.
As part of the mourning period, flags at public buildings in Monza will be flown at half-mast. The funeral service for the four family members is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at 3:00 PM at the Basilica of San Giuseppe in Seregno.
