Monza holds funerals for families killed in Peru plane crash
Funerals were held in Monza on August 29 for the Gianturco family, who were killed in a plane crash in Peru on August 1. The deceased include Paolo Gianturco, his wife Cristina Maria Bianco, and their sons Matteo and Pietro.
The ceremony at the Monza Duomo was presided over by Archpriest Monsignor Marino Mosconi. During the service, a message of condolence from the Archbishop of Milan, Monsignor Mario Delpini, was read. The Archbishop expressed profound grief over the loss of young lives and offered spiritual hope to the grieving community.
In Seregno, separate funeral services were scheduled for the Angelucci family—Massimo, Elena, and Lorenzo—who were also among the Italian victims of the same Peruvian aviation tragedy.
