Morante de la Puebla headlines Almodóvar del Campo bullfighting festival and reveals extensive property holdings

The Almodóvar del Campo bullfighting fair was announced for 17‑21 September 2026, featuring a schedule of rejoneo, a novillada without horses, a full corrida and a national cutting‑bull competition. Prominent toreros slated to appear include Morante de la Puebla, Alejandro Talavante, David de Miranda, Diego Ventura, Sergio Galán and Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza. The presentation took place on 3 July in the town’s municipal theatre, attended by local officials and the national deputy Carmen Fúnez.

Morante de la Puebla, one of Spain’s most celebrated bullfighters, has also amassed a sizeable personal estate. His assets comprise a rural finca in La Puebla del Río that houses a private bullring, a swimming pool and a football field, a beachfront chalet in Matalascañas previously owned by designer Vicky Martín Berrocal, various rustic farms, industrial warehouses and a limited‑liability company that manages his event‑organising and real‑estate activities.
