Michoacán launches second phase of Vivienda para el Bienestar registration
The State Institute of Housing (IVEM) announced that from July 27 to July 31, 2026, registration modules for the second phase of the Vivienda para el Bienestar program will operate in Huandacareo, Huiramba, Pátzcuaro, Peribán and Tacámbaro, Michoacán. The initiative, backed by the National Housing Commission (Conavi), targets adults without own housing, not affiliated with Infonavit or Fovissste, whose family income is below two minimum wages and who have not previously received government housing assistance.
Applicants must present official identification, CURP, proof of address, and income documentation; spouses or cohabitants and people with disabilities must also provide the relevant paperwork. The process is free of charge and does not guarantee allocation, as applications will be evaluated by Conavi according to program rules. IVEM director David Soto Quizamán emphasized that the drive aims to bring adequate housing opportunities to Michoacán families lacking social security.
