Morella improves swimming pool accessibility at Jaume I Sports Centre
The Morella City Council has improved accessibility at the Jaume I Sports Centre by installing a new lifting machine in the swimming pool. This equipment is designed to facilitate easier access for individuals with reduced mobility and functional diversity, which is often essential for rehabilitation exercises.
The purchase and installation, costing 3,803.73 euros, was funded by the Integrated Centre for Economic Services (CISE), the public company managing the facility. Mayor Bernabé Sangüesa noted that the decision to use CISE funds followed unsuccessful attempts to secure external subsidies for the project.
