Morelos government and Chile's Sercotec roll out new funding programmes for SMEs and women entrepreneurs

The Government of Morelos, led by Governor Margarita González Saravia, announced 2026 financing calls through the Fifodepi trust to support micro, small and medium enterprises in the state. The programmes include ImpulsaJoven, offering up to 50,000 pesos to entrepreneurs aged 18‑29, a MiPyMES scheme for those over 30, and an Incubación 2026 initiative that can cover up to 90% of project costs. So far, Fifodepi has received 1,355 applications representing a financing pool of more than 45.36 million pesos.

Chile's Servicio de Cooperación Técnica (Sercotec) launched the Capital Pioneras fund, providing 325 subsidies of 3.5 million Chilean pesos each – a total of over 1.55 billion pesos – to women‑led businesses for formalisation and growth. Applications are open until 15 July and target sectors such as manufacturing, construction, mining, vehicle repair, telecommunications and computer maintenance. The fund has already helped firms like Cachivarte 3D invest in equipment and expand production.

Both initiatives aim to stimulate entrepreneurship, increase formal employment and strengthen regional economies.
