Morelos prosecutors investigate murder of two UAEM students

The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) in Morelos is investigating the homicide of two students from Preparatoria 2 of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM). The crime occurred on September 26 in the vicinity of the Chulavista neighborhood in Cuernavaca.

Prosecutor Fernando Blumenkron Escobar stated that authorities are analyzing digital evidence, including anonymous social media posts and threatening messages directed at the student community. Investigators are also examining a banner found at the school facilities to determine if there is a direct link to the murders. The FGE is coordinating with federal agencies, including the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection and the National Intelligence Center, to verify technical and legal data to locate the suspects.
