Morena delays internal coordination definitions until December

The national leadership of the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) party has extended the timeline for defining municipal and district coordinations for the defense of transformation and national sovereignty until late December.

While the party leadership maintains that the delay is necessary to process registrations, evaluate profiles, conduct surveys, ensure gender parity, and resolve grievances, the decision has raised concerns regarding political uncertainty. Although municipal registrations concluded on October 18, aspirants must wait several weeks for definitive results, leaving them subject to the leadership's evaluation and filtering processes as they prepare for the 2027 elections.
