Mexico's Morena expands infrastructure and rally outreach under the Fourth Transformation

Governor Rocío Nahle García of Veracruz inaugurated two road segments in the Sierra de Zongolica, delivering new connectivity to indigenous communities and announcing complementary school‑furniture, maize‑seeding equipment and health‑service supplies. The ceremony highlighted the administration’s focus on education, agriculture and health as part of President Claudia Sheinbaum’s Fourth Transformation agenda.

Across several states, Morena officials conducted a series of “Assemblies Informativas” and campaign tours. In Sinaloa, candidates Estrella Palacios, Rodolfo Valenzuela and Graciela Domínguez addressed local assemblies, emphasizing defense of the Fourth Transformation, anti‑disinformation efforts, and support for small producers. Similar meetings were held in Morelos and Sonora, where leaders such as Celida López and Abelardo Garcés Reyes stressed territorial organization, unity and grassroots participation.

President Sheinbaum also responded to accusations linking former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador to organized crime, attributing the claims of the late Porfirio Muñoz Ledo to his personal “anger” over not securing higher positions. She reiterated that neither the former administration nor her own has criminal ties, citing arrest statistics as evidence. The combined activities illustrate the ruling party’s push to showcase development projects while consolidating political support nationwide.
