Morena internal coordination race gathers thousands in Quintana Roo
Rafael Marín, a founding member of Morena in Quintana Roo, addressed sugarcane producers in the Río Hondo region, praising the party's founders and calling for greater state and federal support to revitalise the local agro‑economy. He urged the development of added‑value products to offset falling cane prices.
In a separate rally in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, about 2,000 attendees heard three of the five candidates for the party’s Coordination of the Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty – Ana Paty Peralta, Eugenio Segura and Rafael Marín – demonstrate political unity. The assembly aimed to strengthen ties with militants across the state and reinforce the Morena movement ahead of upcoming political contests in Quintana Roo.
