Morena leader Ariadna Montiel heads informational assemblies in Taxco, Guerrero

Ariadna Montiel Reyes, the national leader of Mexico’s ruling Morena party, visited the mining city of Taxco, Guerrero, to preside over an informational assembly defending the Fourth Transformation and national sovereignty. The meeting, attended by senator Félix Salgado Macedonio, was part of a broader effort to hold similar assemblies in roughly 800 municipalities across the country.

Montiel emphasized the party’s strategy to counter right‑wing narratives, strengthen grassroots organization, and involve youth in the political process. She also highlighted the collaboration with local officials and the continued support of senior figures such as Salgado, who is not seeking elected office but remains active in party organization.
