Morena legislators launch youth parliamentary initiatives across Mexico

Deputy Jorge Sanén, a coordinator for the Morena legislative group in Quintana Roo, took part in the session “Del Congreso a la Juventud” at the Casa de los Saberes Jurídicos of the Supreme Court in Cancún. He explained how the state congress works, highlighted the importance of democratic institutions, and urged students and citizens to engage actively in public affairs.

Deputy Ricardo Monreal Ávila inaugurated the third edition of the Youth Parliament, describing it as a training ground for future political leaders. He noted the presence of senior judges, senators and other officials, and announced the selection of a temporary board and legislative commissions for the two‑day event. Monreal emphasized the need for fresh, honest leadership and expressed support for President Claudia Sheinbaum’s agenda.
