Morena party holds assemblies to defend political project and infrastructure plans

Members of the Morena party in Mexico are conducting assemblies across various municipalities to defend the political project initiated by former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and continued by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. In Guerrero, party official Román Hernández Meza stated these meetings aim to inform militants about perceived foreign interference and to promote party unity.

In the State of Mexico, the Morena State Executive Committee, led by Luz Ma. Hernández, highlighted significant government investments. The federal 2026-2030 Infrastructure Plan includes an additional 722 billion pesos for strategic projects. Specifically for the State of Mexico, 111 billion pesos are allocated for education, health, mobility, water, and drainage, alongside 95 billion pesos annually for welfare programs. The committee also recognized the administration of Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, noting her focus on infrastructure and security.
