Morena party launches organizational strategy for 2027 elections

The Morena party held a mass assembly at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco to conclude its citizen assemblies and begin organizing for the 2027 elections. Party leaders emphasized the need for internal unity to prevent the opposition from gaining ground.

Citlali Hernández, president of Morena’s Election Commission, stated that the party will ensure high-quality candidates are selected for upcoming processes. She called for militants to defend the national sovereignty and the ongoing transformation project.

Paulo García, the Morena leader in Mexico City, announced that the party will soon launch territorial organization and information campaigns. He noted that the goal is to convert current social support into an electoral majority for the 2027 cycle.
