Morena party reaches 390,000 members in Tamaulipas

The Morena party in Tamaulipas has reported a significant increase in its membership, reaching approximately 390,000 certified and validated affiliates. This figure exceeds the party's initial goal of 300,000 members by nearly 90,000.

State leader Lupita Gómez Núñez indicated that the party is now focused on transitioning this large membership base into a functional political structure. The objective is to organize these members across neighborhoods, rural communities, and municipalities to prepare for upcoming electoral processes, including the 2027 midterms and the 2028 gubernatorial election.
