Moroccan Cinema Center allocates 3.5‑3.7 million dirham grants to new film projects

The Moroccan Centre for Cinematography (CCM) released the results of the second session of its Production Support Commission for the 2026 film year. The meetings ran from 4 to 12 July and were chaired by director Amin Nasour.

The commission approved advance‑on‑revenues grants for several feature‑film projects, including 3.5 million dirhams each for the fiction titles “Hors Zone” and “Potes”, 3.7 million dirhams for “Le Maître”, and 2.8 million dirhams each for “Fin Ghadi Bia”, “Nour” and “Taâm Al Sarab”. Short‑film projects received 150,000 dirhams each for titles such as “Enemy Ground”, “Dolomat Talalt”, “The Glitch” and “The lucky Kid”, with a further 70,000 dirhams for “L7or9a”.

Support for scriptwriting was earmarked at 50,000 dirhams for five long‑form projects, while documentary projects received advances ranging from 800,000 to 900,000 dirhams for works on culture, history and Saharan topics, and a 700,000‑dirham post‑production grant for the documentary “Mille poèmes”.
